Options 2026
Students will pick their Options in the spring term of Year 9. Each year, the options offered vary slightly and, information for their specific year group will be provided once the process starts.

If your child is currently in Y9, please do look through the booklet in order to inform discussions around what subjects and courses your child would like to study.
Students will continue to study the core offer of English Language, English Literature, mathematics, science and core PE, and can choose to continue the language they currently study. They then choose between history or geography (or they can choose both). Students will then have a free choice of two additional subjects from a selected list of option subjects.
A small number of students in year 9 will follow our bespoke pathway, which supports the transition between ks3 and ks4. These families will be invited in for a one to one meeting with the leadership team to talk them through the process.
